Help! I need to create PDF files from Windows!

The Adobe Portable Document Format is perfect for sending your digital documents to MailMax Direct and MailMax Printing. Many users are already able to output PDF files from their application, or may be able to print to the Adobe PDF printer driver installed with one of the Adobe Acrobat programs (not Adobe Acrobat Reader which does not allow PDF output).

If you do not currently have a method for outputting to PDF files, a number of software packages are available on the Internet for creating PDF output. For a reliable and free solution, consider using PDFCreator.

PDFCreator is GNU GPL-licensed free software for use in Microsoft Windows. Once installed, a new virtual-printer will appear on your computer titled "PDFCreator". Printing to the PDFCreator print driver on your computer from any application will output a PDF file! In a typical application, simply choose File, then Print, and select PDFCreator. You will be asked to name your file and where to save it on your computer. When complete, you should now have a file with the name you entered and an extension of ".pdf". You can then proof your PDF file by viewing it on your computer, and if correct, send it to us via the web or FTP.

For more information about PDFCreator, visit the project's homepage or read more about it on Wikipedia.org. Download PDFCreator at Sourceforge.

You may also download the GNU Ghostscript version of PDFCreator 8.0 installer for Windows directly from our site by clicking here. By downloading or using this software you agree that MailMax Direct, MailMax Printing and AGI does not warranty any software or offer support for any software. It is also recommended that you familiarize yourself with the GNU License under which this software is distributed by clicking here. Thanks!
